Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customised using a specialized app to save your home's maps setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping options. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.
A mapping function helps your robot navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into furniture, wires or other toys. These features are crucial in my home filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and lift its brushes or mop pads to ensure that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, with the ability to identify pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is more than any vacuum we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on an object.
Mopping capabilities are also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in deep cleaning. It also features an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which will lift the pad as it moves from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid getting soaked by these soft surfaces.
In addition to this, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and then drying within the dock. All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I tested it with its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and returned to its base for a recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've test.
It's a robust and well-rounded product with the only drawback being the fact that it's pricey. Its sheer number of features make it a great choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the hefty price tag we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combo. Its high-end price is justified by its impressive features, which include a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It also has an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed admirably across the entire home. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and was able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops were also great, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as the powerful cleaning solution.
The docking station is the primary selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, refills the tank with water to use to mop and also dry your mop pads. It also features an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.
Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tried The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's many premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. The base station must be cleaned out as well as the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately also need to be changed periodically.
Given the L10S Ultra's premium price tag and extensive functionality, I would recommend it to anyone with the money for it. If you're looking to save money, I recommend a more basic model that will allow you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could find but its cost and constant maintenance will make it more of an item to have than one that you actually need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and get rid of dirt from your hard floors. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power as well as a massive battery capacity for mopping and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle-avoiding. It even comes with a roller mop that cleans itself while moving this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of fresh water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept up into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being dumped into a larger storage container. The tank onboard holds plenty of water, and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
Like robot vacuums reviews and mop sets like the S1 Pro is ready to roll out of the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is a simple task by cleaning the dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to dock. If you decide to select this option you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your own cleaner of choice.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have several impressive features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of a space before returning to its dock and the vacuum's high suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.
The app that runs this appliance is complex, with a broad variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate the full map and then clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can choose individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've crafted. There are a number of mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the area.
Like all Roborock models we've evaluated, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a neat fashion. The 'Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like thick carpets but may not be able to identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.
The one glaring flaw of this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be an issue for those who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces of dust and debris left behind by your vacuuming. This is a nice feature that helps this robot keep its cleanness a bit higher than its cheaper competitors.
